Fion Anastassiades Named Chair of TVO's Board of Directors; Adesua Ezeokafor Appointed Vice-Chair

TORONTO, Sept. 1, 2026 /CNW/ -- TVO Media Education Group (TVO) today announced new leadership for its Board of Directors following appointments by the Government of Ontario. Fion Anastassiades has been reappointed to the Board and designated as Chair for a five-year term. Adesua Ezeokafor joins the Board as a new member and has been appointed Vice-Chair, also for a five-year term.

Fion Anastassiades has been reappointed to the TVO Board and designated as Chair.

Fion Anastassiades, of Ottawa, brings 20 years of experience leading strategic programs, enterprise transformation, and organizational growth across sectors. He brings a collaborative and global perspective shaped by extensive international advisory and diplomatic experience. Founder of a consultancy specializing in strategic program delivery, he has also co-founded firms in international business development and animal health innovation. Deeply committed to the not-for-profit sector, he partners with organizations to strengthen governance, infrastructure, and digital capabilities that enable lasting impact.

Adesua Ezeokafor, of Oakville, is a senior finance executive and Chartered Director (C.Dir) with extensive experience in financial leadership, governance, risk management and organizational oversight across manufacturing, biotechnology and energy. She brings a combination of executive financial leadership, governance experience, and a strong understanding of accountability, oversight, and stewardship in both corporate and public-interest organizations. Adesua is Chief Financial Officer of +OSB, a Canadian manufacturer based in Burlington and previously held senior finance roles at Fusion Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by AstraZeneca, and Phillips 66 Canada. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Oakville Symphony and Chair of the Ontario Tax Committee of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters and previously chaired the Finance and Audit Committee of the Council of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario.
