MONTREAL, June 11, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources; the Honourable Julie Dabrusin, Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Nature; and Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), will co-host the IEA 11^th Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency on June 29–30 in Montreal, in partnership with Hydro-Québec.

Media representatives who wish to cover the conference must obtain media accreditation in advance.

The media accreditation process is open to journalists (print, radio, television, news agencies and online media) who are on assignment with a bona fide media organization.

All accredited media are asked to complete the online registration form for the IEA 11th Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency.

The application period will close on June 22, 2026. Please note that accreditation does not guarantee access to the conference.
