Minister Marc Miller will host a reception in honour of Black History Month 2026
GATINEAU, QC, Feb. 2, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages, will host the Government of Canada's official celebration for Black History Month 2026 on Wednesday.
This year's theme is, 30 Years of Black History Month: Honouring Black Brilliance Across Generations — From Nation Builders to Tomorrow's Visionaries. The evening will feature performances and speeches honouring the contributions and outstanding achievements of Black Canadians and communities.
